Deterministic scoring stays independent from optional AI, lab, and field data.

How it works

Three simple steps. No account or installation required.

  1. Step 1

    Enter one public page

Enter one public page URL and choose whether to request optional AI or CrUX enrichment.

  2. Step 2

    Inspect grounded evidence

Follow the real audit stages while deterministic page, crawler, link, trust, content, entity, and schema evidence is checked.

  3. Step 3

    Prioritize and export

Review scores and priorities, inspect machine views and evidence, then export a local report.

More about this tool

Overview

SEO, GEO & AI Audit is Magictools’ complete visibility and machine-understanding report for one public webpage. It reuses one safely validated source fetch across deterministic SEO and GEO analysis, checks bounded link and trust-page evidence, and publishes every earned and available scoring point. Browser evidence, optional Chrome UX Report field data, and optional AI interpretation remain separate from the Universal Visibility Score. Reports stay in browser memory, exports are created locally, and no account is required.

How the visibility audit works

Magictools validates and fetches the submitted public page once, then reuses that source HTML across the technical analyzer, GEO crawler evidence, content analysis, entity extraction, and deterministic scoring. It samples no more than 50 public links and verifies no more than eight linked same-origin trust pages. Those boundaries keep the report useful without turning one page audit into a site crawl.

Deterministic first

All six scores come from published checks. Optional AI interpretation, CrUX, lab, and screenshot data cannot change them.

Evidence attached

Every check states what was found, why it matters, how to improve, evidence source, confidence, effort, and points.

Unknown stays unknown

Unavailable modules leave the denominator instead of becoming a failure. AI claims without an exact supplied excerpt are downgraded to unknown.

Published scoring methodology

The Universal Visibility Score weights SEO at 25%, GEO Readiness at 20%, AI Understanding at 15%, Content at 15%, Entity Clarity at 10%, and Citation Readiness at 15%. Category scores are rounded to whole numbers. Labels are Excellent for 90–100, Very Good for 75–89, Good for 60–74, Needs Improvement for 40–59, and Poor for 0–39.

Each category contains fixed scoring groups shown inside the report. Unavailable checks are removed from that category's denominator and the resulting coverage is displayed. Critical is reserved for strong blocking evidence such as an unreachable page, noindex, a materially conflicting canonical, or blocked search and citation access. Optional enhancements are Opportunities.

Optional AI interpretation

AI analysis is unchecked by default. When enabled, the public URL, up to 40,000 characters of cleaned effective text, and up to 12,000 characters of structured findings are sent to Magictools' AI provider for interpretation. Page text is treated as untrusted data. Screenshots, cookies, DNS data, IP addresses, accessibility node HTML, and unrelated report sections are excluded. AI output can explain evidence or draft an improvement, but it cannot change deterministic scores or priorities.

What this report cannot prove

This audit does not claim rankings, citation probability, E-E-A-T certification, AI authorship detection, accessibility or security compliance, or access to private search and AI algorithms. Sampled links and trust pages are bounded evidence, automated checks need human review, and public systems may return different results by time, region, device, or access policy.

Use judgment before publishing

A canonical that points elsewhere, a blocked crawler, a short page, or absent schema can be intentional. Confirm the page's real purpose, audience, publishing policy, legal obligations, and evidence before changing it. Every AI draft is explicitly a suggested draft that must be reviewed before publishing.

Frequently asked questions

What does the SEO, GEO & AI Audit inspect?

It inspects one public page for indexability, metadata, headings, links, images, answer structure, crawler access, source discoverability, content clarity, entities, schema, attribution, trust pages, references, and claim support. Link checks are a bounded sample, not a whole-site crawl.

What is the Universal Visibility Score?

It is a transparent Magictools diagnostic composite built from six deterministic categories: SEO, GEO Readiness, AI Understanding, Content, Entity Clarity, and Citation Readiness. Every check shows earned and available points, and unavailable checks are removed from that category’s denominator.

Does the score predict search rankings or AI citations?

No. The report does not predict rankings, citation probability, traffic, conversions, or access to private search or AI algorithms. It organizes observable public-page evidence so you can make informed improvements.

Does the audit crawl my whole website?

No. It audits the submitted page, samples up to 50 unique public links, and verifies up to eight linked same-origin trust pages such as About, Contact, Privacy, Terms, author, editorial, support, or refund pages. Website Analyzer provides the separate bounded 25-page Site audit.

What happens when I enable AI analysis?

Only after you opt in, Magictools sends the public page URL, up to 40,000 characters of cleaned effective page text, and up to 12,000 characters of structured findings to its AI provider for interpretation. Screenshots, cookies, DNS data, IP addresses, accessibility node HTML, and unrelated report sections are excluded.

Can AI analysis change the audit score or priorities?

No. AI interpretation may explain ambiguity, intent, question coverage, topic coverage, and entities, but it cannot change deterministic scores or reorder factual priorities. Unsupported AI evidence is downgraded to unknown.

What happens when I enable CrUX field data?

If CrUX is configured, Magictools sends the public URL to Google after a separate opt-in and requests eligible LCP, INP, and CLS field data. Field data and lab diagnostics are shown separately and never affect the Universal Visibility Score.

How are trust and citation signals checked?

The audit looks for visible author or publisher evidence, dates, linked policies and contact pages, labeled references, nearby claim support, methodology, HTTPS, and grounded entity relationships. Missing evidence is reported as unknown when the audit cannot safely verify it.

Are the recommendations automatically safe to publish?

No. Deterministic recommendations and AI interpretation still require editorial judgment before you change live content.

Do you store the URL, page text, AI response, or report?

No permanent report or account history is created. The merged report remains in browser memory, exports are created locally, and submitted URLs, extracted text, findings, and AI content are excluded from analytics and application logs. External providers process only the optional data you explicitly send to them under their own policies.
