More about this tool
Social Preview reads the metadata published by one public page and turns it into approachable platform simulations, crop guidance, a transparent preview-quality score, and copy-ready fixes. It can also compare two pages factually or scan a small CSV batch in your browser. Simulations are approximate because social platforms can cache, crop, validate, and render the same metadata differently.
A useful simulation, honestly framed
Preview with context, publish with confidence.
The lab reads what your page publishes today. It does not clear platform caches, predict engagement, or guarantee a pixel-identical card. Use the output to catch problems early, then validate important launches in the destination platform when possible.
Frequently asked questions
Will the preview exactly match every social platform?
No. Preview simulations are approximate. Facebook, LinkedIn, X, messaging apps, and other platforms can cache metadata, choose different fallbacks, crop images, or change their card layouts.
What does the Magic Score measure?
It summarizes observable preview quality signals such as metadata completeness, image suitability, and title and description lengths. It is not a ranking, engagement prediction, or guarantee.
Does Social Preview use the page returned by my server?
Yes. It reads the public server-returned HTML for the submitted page. Metadata inserted only after JavaScript runs may not appear.
Can I compare my page with a competitor?
Yes. Comparison mode shows factual differences in metadata completeness, text length, image format, and preview-quality signals. It does not rank either website.
Can I export recommended metadata?
Yes. You can copy HTML, React, Next.js, or Vue-oriented metadata snippets. You can also print the current report to PDF using your browser.
Do you store submitted URLs or reports?
No analysis history is stored. URLs and page HTML are processed for the current request, and report exports are created in your browser.
