Frequently asked questions

What is a DMARC checker?

A DMARC checker looks up the DMARC TXT record for a domain, validates syntax, explains each tag, and shows the effective policy receivers may apply.

How do I check my DMARC record?

Enter your domain and click Check DMARC. Magictools queries _dmarc.{domain}, parses the record, and reports policy, reporting addresses, alignment, SPF, and optional DKIM results.

What does p=none mean?

p=none requests monitoring only. Receivers should not quarantine or reject mail solely for DMARC failure while this policy is active.

Can this checker prove that my real emails pass DMARC?

No. DNS configuration alone cannot prove message-level authentication. It shows what is published, not how live mail authenticates.
