How discovery works
Discovery reads robots.txt and your public sitemap, then keeps about 50 URLs. Without a sitemap it follows a short same-origin link sample. It then reads about 20 key pages to draft llms-full.txt. Nothing is saved on our servers.

No. llms.txt is an emerging convention for describing useful pages to language-model agents. Magictools does not treat it as a verified ChatGPT, Google, or other ranking signal.
What is the difference between llms.txt and llms-full.txt?
llms.txt is the short index: a title, optional summary, and sections of links. llms-full.txt is a community convention that concatenates Markdown from key pages. It is not part of the core llms.txt proposal.
Do you store the URLs or the file I generate?
No. The builder, paste import, validation, copy, and download stay in your browser. A public site is fetched only after you opt in to discovery or to checking an existing /llms.txt, and that request is not kept as history.
What are the free limits?
Discovery keeps about 50 URLs for the index and inlines about 20 pages into llms-full.txt. The manual builder is unlimited. Discover and existing-file checks have a soft per-IP limit. Validation, copy, download, and English and Spanish are never gated.
Where should I publish the files?
Save them at the host root as /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt with a text/plain or text/markdown response. Do not block those paths in robots.txt, and link the full file from the index.
